Job summary

Northern Waters Casino Resort is seeking a full-time carpenter to construct, repair, and install structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items from wood, plastic, fiberglass, vinyl, and steel. The role uses hand and power tools to build and remodel for casino facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the layout of the project.
• Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
• Ensure correct materials are used for the project.
• Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall.
• Utilize all hand tools, drills, and nail guns to repair and erect structures.
• Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
• Erect scaffolding and safety barriers.
