Schimberg Co. is hiring a Local CDL Class B Driver to join our Woodbury location. Our delivery drivers are responsible for delivering piping supplies to customer sites within 150 miles of our warehouse. Our drivers are the face of our company, providing exceptional service while making timely deliveries to multiple stops. We want you to learn our industry, advance your skills, and share in our success.

Deliveries are made with a pickup or straight truck. This position is Monday - Friday, daytime hours, and home every night! We offer a competitive hourly rate, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload flatbed trailers and pickup trucks
• Operate various commercial vehicles to safely deliver materials
• Ensure timely delivery of piping supplies with multiple stops
• Maintain a log of deliveries, including ticket numbers, mileage, and locations
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with loading and unloading upon request
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, conduct light vehicle maintenance, and report any issues
• Complete warehouse duties as needed, including loading/unloading materials, pulling orders, and preparing shipments

What You'll Need

• Class B commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Safe and competent driving record; no alcohol-related convictions, at-fault accidents, or more than three traffic violations in the last 5 years
• Current DOT medical certificate or ability to obtain one as a condition of hire
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally; physical ability for on-foot tasks, climbing ladders, and manual material handling
• Previous delivery driver experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience preferred

Delivery drivers must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Random drug and alcohol testing is conducted during employment.
