Job summary

UFP Industries in Wilton, NH is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specifications. You will secure and prepare parts and supplies required for the operation and ensure the work area remains safe and well-organized.

The role requires basic math and attention to quality standards, with a preference for at least 6 months of manufacturing/assembly experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
• No minimum experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and may label/band components finished product.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
