Job summary

UFP Site Built in Wilton, NH is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products according to customer specifications. You will ensure correct parts and supplies, operate hand tools, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Responsibilities include completing setup, inspecting equipment, recording production data, and adhering to safety and quality procedures. No prior experience is required, though 6 months in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and labels or bands components as required.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection and reports problems.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for standard compliance.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
