Job summary

Decore is seeking a dedicated woodworker to smooth surfaces of wooden articles, such as cabinet panels, using sandpaper and hand tools. You will sand specified portions of wood products and check for defects, working on-site in Monroe, NC.

This full-time, day-shift role requires a high school diploma (or GED), basic math skills, and the ability to print and speak simple English. We offer 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, life insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related experience or training.
• Must pass medical respiratory evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Places proper grit sandpaper on hand sander.
• Sands specified portions of wood products.
• Uses hands and eye to feel and watch for proper sanding and any unremovable defects in the product.
• Continually checks sandpaper for wear.
• Keeps area clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as needed.
