Job summary

Goebel Cabinetry is a family-owned and operated custom cabinetry manufacturer with over 70 years of excellence in craftsmanship and customer service. The Sander will prepare cabinetry and millwork components for the finishing process, including filling, sanding, and inspecting surfaces to ensure a smooth, defect-free finish.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork as you sand cabinets, apply filler, perform quality checks, and keep the work area clean while

Qualifications

• Sanding/woodworking experience preferred.
• Ability to identify and fix surface imperfections.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Sand cabinets, panels, frames, and moldings using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and sanding equipment
• Apply wood filler and putty as needed to repair imperfections and create a smooth surface
• Perform quality checks to ensure surfaces meet finishing standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
