Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to stand for 8–10 hour shifts, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and diagrams.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate woodworking equipment properly.
• Basic shop math and ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and routings to produce parts within tolerances.
• Repair damaged or defective wood products.
• Perform final quality inspections on finished parts, including post-sanding.
• Maintain simple tracking reports for product repairs.
• Keep tools cleaned, changed, and in proper working order.
• Keep production parts labeled and organized in the work area.
• Operate all machine and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Support team goals by completing related tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Wood Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing high-quality wood products using a variety of equipment, including chop saws, band saws, CNC routers, wood turning lathes, end formers, sanders, and gang rip saws. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, use a tape measure, and apply basic shop math.

Position Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and routings to produce parts within required tolerances


• Repair damaged or defective wood products


• Perform final quality inspections on finished parts, including post-sanding


• Maintain simple tracking reports for product repairs


• Keep tools cleaned, changed, and in proper working order


• Keep production parts labeled and organized in the work area


• Operate all machine and hand tools safely and effectively


• Support team goals by completing related tasks as needed


• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
