Job summary
Marathon Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our wood processing team in Chester County, Kennett Square, United States. Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating sit-down industrial forklifts.
- Experience with large-capacity or outdoor forklifts is a major plus.
- Ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, stack, and move raw logs and finished wood products.
- Feed raw materials to processing machines and clear finished products.
- Load and unload trailers according to shipping manifests.
- Organize yard inventory, ensuring bundles are stacked and labeled correctly.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and plant safety rules.
