Marathon Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator in Elverson, Chester County. This role involves handling large and variable loads of raw lumber, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating sit-down industrial forklifts.
• Experience with large-capacity or outdoor forklifts handling oversized/lumber loads is a major plus.
• Ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, stack, and move raw logs, processed lumber, and finished products.
• Feed raw materials to processing machines and clear finished products from production lines.
• Load and unload flatbeds, trailers, and railcars according to shipping manifests.
• Organize yard inventory, ensuring bundles are securely stacked and labeled.
• Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
