Qualifications

• Ability to complete custom wood floor projects from start to finish without supervision.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in hardwood flooring.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Clearly and effectively communicate with the project manager.
• Preparation of the subfloor, including use of self-leveling concrete.
• Installation of strip, plank, and patterned wood floors.
• Sand, color, and finish wood floors.
• Document moisture readings and maintain track of equipment.

Job description

Subfloor preparation (leveling), layout and installation of strip, plank and patterned wood floors. The ideal candidate/team member will also have experience in sanding, hand scraping and finishing of wood floors.

Job Duties

• Clearly and effectively communicate with the project manager
• Preparation of the subfloor, including use of self leveling concrete
• Application of moisture barriers
• Installation of strip, plank, and patterned wood floors
• Sand, color, and finish wood floors
• Document moisture readings, inventory, organize, maintain and track equipment

Required Skills

• Ability to complete custom wood floor projects from start to finish without supervision
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in hardwood flooring

• Clean driving record
