Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current US driver’s license preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of woodworking experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot fabricating machines.
• Determine product specifications and machine setup requirements.
• Examine raw wood stock for defects and conformity to sizes.
• Adjust machine tables or cutting devices and set controls.
• Trim wood parts according to specifications.
• Inspect finished work pieces and stack for transfer.
• Attach parts and subassemblies to form completed units with glue, nails, screws or clamps.
• Check and assist shipping and receiving personnel with door inventory or modifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Install and hang frames and doors and hardware in the field as needed.
• Maintain shop organization and cleanliness.
• Assist in stocking and organizing materials in the wood door warehouse.
• Assist in shop tasks like undercuts, lite kit cutouts, and related duties.
• Other relative duties as assigned.
