Ideal candidates read tape measures in inches, perform precise measurements, and maintain safety and organization on the shop floor. This role emphasizes quality, reliability, and teamwork on a fast-paced production line.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use a tape measure in inches.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools, particularly hammers and measuring tapes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn manufacturing procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsabilités

• Measure and cut wooden boards according to predetermined designs and specs.
• Operate wood-cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
• Use a tape measure to verify dimensions and cuts.
• Sort and stack components by size and use.
• Assemble components with metal connector plates and hammer.
• Inspect assembled parts for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow PPE rules.
• Assist with general production tasks as needed.
