Job summary

WonderWorks Orlando is seeking energetic Birthday Hosts to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will engage with partygoers, managing everything from setup to cleanup, ensuring a fun and smooth-running event.

The position offers weekly pay and fantastic perks including access to discounts at WonderWorks and other Orlando attractions. Ideal candidates should have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
• Ideal candidates must be available to work Saturday and Sunday from 9:30AM-6:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with party guests.
• Set up and clean up the birthday room.

Birthday Host$11.98/hour + Tips

As a Birthday Host you can be the life of the party for our partygoers! From setup to cleanup, Birthday Hosts create WONDERful experiences for guests by orchestrating interactive games and serving delicious treats!

• Greet, interact with, and provide exceptional guest service to party guests with a positive, upbeat attitude
• Check in party group and guide them to party area
• Set up the birthday room based on party package and clean up after each party
• Assist with any party package add-ons and verify that all remaining balances have been collected
• Serve food and drinks to all party guests
• Monitor to make sure the party runs smoothly and on schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum requirements for all positions:

• Observational skills to ensure safe practices and recognize guest needs
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
• Our ideal candidatewill be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays;must be available to work Saturday and Sunday from 9:30AM-6:30PM and ANY time for one weekday shift.
• Previous themed entertainment experienceis preferred
