Job summary

WonderWorks Orlando is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. Technicians maintain and repair computer-based exhibits, diagnose sensor and network issues, and perform general maintenance to keep attractions safe and engaging for guests.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, the ability to work varied shifts, and physical stamina to operate across different heights and surfaces. Previous theme-park or ride-control experience is preferred. $24.00/hr, full-time position.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience working with computers.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance field.
• Experience in troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical equipment and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair computer-based exhibits
• Perform diagnostics on sensors, actuators, and communication networks to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and implement long-term corrective actions as needed in all areas of facilities and exhibits
• Complete general maintenance tasks including painting, carpeting, changing lightbulbs, plumbing, cleaning, and pressure washing
• Certify new and existing team members to safely operate all major exhibits
• Climb, bend, kneel, stoop, stand, and walk to all areas of the attraction
• Perform other duties as assigned

is looking for a Technician to join our team! Our Technicians utilize their vast technical skillset to keep the upside-down building in WONDERful shape! In this fast-paced environment, our Technicians troubleshoot and repair attractions, construct new exhibits and perform routine maintenance to keep the family fun going for all of our guests. Ideal candidates enjoy using creative problem-solving and thrive when presented with new challenges, because every day is different and offers our team members a chance to learn something new.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair computer-based exhibits

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience working with computers

• Experience in troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical equipment and facility maintenance
• Be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions
• Observational skills to ensure safe practices and maintenance of equipment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communicationAbility to multi-task and work independently within a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, use hands and/or fingers, and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work on tasks at varying heights

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on ride-control systems preferred
• Previous themed entertainment experienceis preferred

Hourly Rate:

$24.00/hr
