Overview

Henry Ford Health’s Department of Women’s Health Services is seeking a board-eligible or certified Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to expand services at Henry Ford Medical Center - New Center One, located less than 1 mile north of the flagship hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Department Details

The department offers Women’s Care across 15 urban and suburban medical centers, including obstetrical and gynecologic care, subspecialty services such as uro-gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and pelvic pain. The division provides extensive call coverage (approximately 1 in 11-12).

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight to certified nurse midwives, residents, and medical students
  • Manage high-risk obstetrical patients
  • Offer inpatient and outpatient gynecology services, including primary and preventive care, contraception, family planning, and treatment of conditions like abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, pelvic pain, and endometriosis
