A leading healthcare facility is looking for a Women's and Children's Tour Guide to provide an informative touring experience for potential patients and families. This role involves greeting visitors, conducting tours, and sharing essential hospital information. Ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Women's and Children's Tour Guide offers a touring experience to potential patients and families considering the Bryan Women's and Children's facility for childbirth. Provides a welcoming and informative experience, answers questions or obtains necessary information and conducts follow-up contacts. Provides and gathers evaluation forms and distributes tour bags to participants.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
2. *Greets expectant parents and family members in Plaza lobby prior to tour start time.
3. *Conducts bi-monthly and PRN tours of the Women's and Children's facility; manages touring situations such as large groups or lagging participants with confidence and expedition.
4. *Explains key details of what to expect during their hospital stay and all available Bryan services.
5. *Distributes evaluation forms and gathers completed forms for Nurse Educator reference; collates information and packages tour packets for distribution to tour participants.
6. *Consistently displays welcoming and helpful persona to tour participants and Bryan visitors; answers questions appropriately or obtains information from Nursing Educator and contacts participant after tour.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalency required. Prior experience in public speaking, guiding tours or experience within a medical environment preferred.
