Job summary

Connecticut College is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in all sport-related duties for the women’s cross country & track and field program. The role reports to the Director of Athletics and Chair of Physical Education/Associate Athletic Director for administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and 1-3 years of collegiate playing and/or coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting a program that aligns with the mission and philosophy of Connecticut College, the department, NESCAC, and NCAA Division III.
• Plan and execute dynamic warm-ups and training sessions.
• Ensure a safe environment for all practices, competitions, and team travel.
• Coordinate recruitment within NESCAC and NCAA rules to meet annual goals.
• Oversee and manage team social media and marketing efforts.
