Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a highly creative Women’s Print (Textile) Designer for Out From Under, with a hybrid schedule 3 days per week in Philadelphia. This print-focused role centers on developing original textile artwork and repeat patterns for apparel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in apparel graphic/print design, strong trend forecasting and color theory skills, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Collaboration with design, merchandising, and trend teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic or textile design or related field.
• 5+ years of apparel graphic/print design experience.
• Strong understanding of trend forecasting, color theory, typography, and illustration.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); CAD experience a plus.
• Strong storytelling, with ability to translate brand voice into design.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Develop original graphics, illustrations, and prints for apparel and accessories.
• Collaborate with Women’s Design, Merchandising, and Trend teams for cohesive collections.
• Translate brand concepts and seasonal themes into innovative graphics and prints.
• Source and manipulate materials, patterns, and textures for print execution.
• Prepare print-ready files for screen printing, digital printing, embroidery and more.
• Stay on top of streetwear, fashion and lifestyle trends to remain brand-right.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with high quality.
