Job summary

G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. is seeking a Product Development Assistant for Levi’s Women’s Outerwear in New York City. You will support the product development team by managing seasonal samples, materials, trims, and documentation to help deliver stylish, market-ready collections.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment, with collaboration across teams and overseas partners to maintain timelines and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience in product development or related apparel field
• Knowledge of apparel construction, BOMs, and development processes
• Experience in a high SKU volume environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Support development and approval of new materials and trims from prototype to production.
• Create and update production BOMs; send fit comments and updates to vendors.
• Track samples with factories and overseas partners; manage sample routing and deadlines.
• Create and update technical drawings, diagrams, and development documents; assist with presentations.
