Job summary
MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for outpatient practice in Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine. The role involves prenatal care, contraception management, and comprehensive women’s health evaluations.
Candidates should have CA NP or PA licensure, with WH certification preferred, and experience with Epic EMR. Excellent outpatient schedule, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, no after-hours calls, and strong patient volumes expected.
Qualifications
- CA NP with furnishing license or CA PA license.
- Active/unrestricted NP/PA license.
- Board certification in Women’s Health (preferred).
- 1+ year of Women’s Health/OB experience as NP/PA preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
- Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy and manage OB patients.
- Implanet contraception (IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
- See new OB patients and coordinate care within Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine.
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
