Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for outpatient OB/Gyn and Family Medicine. The role involves comprehensive histories, physicals, contraception implant procedures, and prenatal care.

Outpatient-focused practice with a 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule, no after‑hours call, and Epic EMR. Requires NP/PA licensure in California and relevant Women’s Health experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all pregnancy stages.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
