Job summary

Noir Well Health in Bushwick, Brooklyn seeks an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our outpatient practice. We value a compassionate, dependable clinician who delivers high-quality, evidence-based women’s healthcare in a collaborative environment.

Current needs include coverage on one dedicated weekday and/or every other Saturday. NY WHNP license, board certification, 3,600 NP hours, malpractice insurance, and DEA registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) license.
• Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of 3,600 hours of prior qualifying NP practice experience required.
• Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance required. Providers will also be added to the practice’s professional liability policy, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive women’s health assessments and annual wellness examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions.
• Provide preventive care, cervical cancer screenings, STI screening and treatment, contraception counseling, menopause management, and patient education.
• Order, interpret, and manage appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and complete electronic medical records; collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and organizational policies and standards of practice.
