Role Description

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive women's health care, including preventive services, gynecologic evaluations, and management of common obstetric and gynecologic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and providing counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning. The role involves collaborating closely with physicians and other clinical staff, documenting care in the medical record, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, requiring consistent in-person patient care and participation in practice operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise as a Nurse Practitioner in women's health, with current national certification and appropriate state licensure.
• Strong foundation in Nursing and Medicine, with the ability to perform thorough assessments and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Experience in Obstetrics, including prenatal care, postpartum follow-up, and coordination of services with obstetric providers.
• Knowledge and practice experience in Family Planning, contraception counseling, and reproductive health education.
• Ability to perform basic OB and GYN ultrasounds
• Master's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current BLS (and preferably ACLS) certification.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills, with a commitment to culturally sensitive, inclusive care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Prior experience in an OB/GYN or women's health is a must.
