Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center in northwest Arizona is seeking a compassionate Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Women’s Health Clinic. The WHNP will deliver comprehensive outpatient care, including preventive gynecologic services, prenatal care for low‑risk pregnancies, and postpartum follow-up, working with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Doctoral NP degree, current Arizona APRN license, WHNP‑BC or FNP with women’s health

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral NP degree from an accredited NP program.
• Arizona APRN license is current.
• WHNP‑BC preferred, or FNP with women’s health experience.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Experience in women’s health, gynecology, obstetrics, or related field preferred.
• New graduates with significant women's health clinical training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations for adolescent and adult female patients.
• Provide preventive women’s healthcare services, including annual well‑woman exams and screenings.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecologic conditions.
• Manage contraception counseling and family planning services.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
• Provide prenatal care and postpartum monitoring for low‑risk obstetric patients.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding and prevention.
• Document accurately in the EMR and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists regarding patient care and referrals.

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our Women’s Health Clinic. The provider will deliver comprehensive outpatient women's healthcare services, including preventive gynecologic care, diagnosis and treatment of common gynecologic conditions, prenatal care for low‑risk pregnancies, and postpartum care. The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments, obtain medical histories, and conduct physical examinations for adolescent and adult female patients.
• Provide preventive women's healthcare services, including annual well‑woman examinations and age‑appropriate screenings.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecologic conditions.
• Manage contraception counseling and family planning services.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within scope of practice.
• Provide prenatal care and monitoring for low‑risk obstetric patients.
• Conduct postpartum examinations and ongoing maternal care.
• Educate patients regarding reproductive health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and disease prevention.
• Perform office procedures within approved scope of practice and credentialing privileges.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists regarding patient care and referrals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current Arizona APRN license.
  • National certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP‑BC) preferred, or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with women’s health experience.
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience:
  • Experience in women's health, gynecology, obstetrics, family practice, or related specialty preferred.
  • New graduates with significant women's health clinical training may be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two or more years of Women’s Health experience.
  • Experience providing prenatal and postpartum care.
  • Experience performing women’s health procedures in an outpatient setting.
  • Experience with Meditech or other electronic medical record systems preferred.
