Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks a Clinical Research Project Coordinator I within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology to support non-cancer women’s health research and clinical trials across multiple sub-specialties.

You will coordinate administrative trial activities, activate and close studies, and partner with investigators, research teams, and sponsors to meet timelines and study goals in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years employment experience in Clinical Research Coordination and Clinical Trials is required by the start date of the position.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; focus in life sciences/healthcare or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops a system of databases for research data in a format suitable for analysis.
• Serves as the primary liaison between clinical staff and study teams, creating site workflows within clinic and protocol limits.
• Assist with training of staff.
• Serves as main contact for clinical research participants, explaining procedures and ensuring protocol adherence.
• Serves as point of contact for external institutions, ensuring data entry accuracy and monitoring records.
• Coordinates and assists with development of investigator-initiated protocols and related documents.
• Schedules, coordinates, and prepares for sponsor site visits with complete study records.
• Interfaces with investigators, research staff, sponsors, and collaborators to maintain trials and ensure milestones.
• Collaborates with investigators and sponsors to move protocols through activation and rapid opportunities
