Job summary

Talbots is seeking a part-time associate in our Williamsburg, VA store to deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships. You will use fashion knowledge to create outfits, assist management in driving store performance, and maintain strong product knowledge to engage customers and close sales.

Flexibility to work 15–20 hours weekly, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and comfort with standing for long periods are essential.

• Open availability of 15–20 hours per week with flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Assist management to build store business and support service enhancers.
• Service multiple customers, multitask, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay aware of fashion trends and product arrivals; develop outfit recommendations.
• Use product knowledge to create outfits and suggest matching items.
• Aim to meet sales and service metrics including clientelling and appointments.
• Complete operational tasks: filling orders, replenishment, recovery, etc.
