David Yurman Summer 2027 Internship in New York City offers a 9-week paid program for students and early-career professionals. The Women’s Design, Design Projects Intern will gain hands-on experience across CAD, color proposals, and production readiness, with mentorship and networking opportunities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional partners, exposure to market preparation, and development processes from concept through production in a luxury jewelry setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Jewelry Design, Design, or a related field; Product Development with a background in Design or Jewelry Design is also preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Interest in jewelry design and the product development process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Design Development through CAD and Shop submissions, layout and color proposals, and pricing requests.
• Support the Design team in preparing styles for T/O, Market, and Product Development.
• Develop knowledge of the Design Development process from Concept through Production through hands-on collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Create and update layouts and colorways in Photoshop to support product development.
• Partner with the team on additional operational and development needs as assigned.
• Execute assigned development and operational tasks accurately and within established timelines.
• Collaborate with Design and cross-functional partners to support the progression of styles from Concept through Production.
