Job summary

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required with 1–2 years coaching or playing at the collegiate level.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to recruit, teach and coach student‑athletes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in planning and preparation of training, travel, practices, and teaching student‑athletes.
• Participate in recruitment and attract outstanding student‑athletes to Carleton College.
• Attend meetings with head coach and staff.
• Complete required training and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Comply with NCAA Division III, MIAC and Carleton policies.
• Support students balancing academics and athletics.
• Demonstrate sportsmanship and conduct during practices and contests.
