Job summary

Mac Duggal is seeking a Designer for Women's Day Dresses in Chicago. You will develop concepts, drive design sketches, drape work, and 3D samples for collection development, coordinating with suppliers to launch and track progress.

You will oversee development and maintain seasonal design recaps, with occasional factory travel to ensure fit and finish. The ideal candidate has luxury-brand experience, is independent, and can source directional research and vintage inspirations while meeting tight

• Proficient in all stages of the design process from concept to final production.
• Ability to work independently with time-management discipline.

How you will contribute

• Propose concepts for design stories
• Prepare designs, sketches, drapes, and 3D work for collection development
• Launch and follow developments of the collection with suppliers
• Oversee development work
• Update and maintain the seasonal recap of designs
• Travel possibly required for factory visits.

Your Skills and Experience

• Previous Experience in a Luxury Brand
• Competent in all stages of the design process
• Able to work independently, in a methodical and time-conscious way
• Ability to compile strong directional research
• Source inspiring vintage
• Able to work in an efficient way to ensure deadlines are met
