Job summary

Night Rooster, an elevated Chinese restaurant in the Dallas Design District, is seeking a wok cook to join our kitchen. You’ll prep ingredients and run the wok station, cooking wok items to our recipe standards.

Requires 1 year wok-cooking experience, ability to stand long hours, and to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be a team player with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Training and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year wok-cooking experience.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with Asian ingredients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality of food items.
• Cook and plate all wok-cooked items according to recipe specifications and standards.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
• Prep & restock station when necessary.
• Follow all SNHD food and sanitation guidelines.
• Must have a Food Handler Safety Card in Nevada.
• Handle and store food products correctly (FIFO).
• Must be able to assist with cleaning and sanitation projects.
• All other duties as assigned.
