WOCN Registered Nurse - Wound Care RN - Hospice

Compass Healthcare Consulting and Placement is seeking a Wound Care RN, WOCN or WCC Certified RN to join a reputable Hospice in Bronx, NY. The position involves working 3 days per week, with 12-hour shifts. Qualified candidates should have prior Wound Care RN experience, including Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing, and Surgical Nursing.

Role Overview

The WOC Nurse provides care for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. Responsibilities include direct patient care, education, consultation, and research, playing a key role in guiding optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current NY State RN License
• Wound and Ostomy Nursing certification or Wound Care Certified (preferred)
• Membership in Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Society (preferred)
• At least 2 years Medical/Surgical nursing experience

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program, Baccalaureate Degree required
• WOCN accredited WOC Nursing Education (preferred)

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $124,000 - $151,000 based on experience and certifications
• Sign-on bonus up to $15,000
