Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC seeks a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Clinical Service Nurse (WOC CSN) to provide care for patients with wounds, ostomies, or continence needs, from preop to discharge, across multiple departments.

You will educate nurses and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, teach patients and families, and advance evidence-based wound and ostomy practices within the Duke Health system.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program.
• Current North Carolina RN license.
• National WOC certification (CWOCN or CWON) within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Educate patients and families on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate care.
• Lead patient education and staff development in wound ostomy topics.
