Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Indiana is seeking a dedicated 7th Grade Math Teacher to join our middle school team. You will inspire students to build foundational math skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving in a supportive, structured classroom.

The ideal candidate holds an Indiana Middle School Mathematics license (or 5–9 / 6–8 endorsement) and can collaborate with grade-level teams, math department, and families to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana teaching license for Middle School Mathematics (or Grade 5–9 / 6–8 endorsement).
• Strong understanding of middle school child development and instructional best practices.
• Proficiency with instructional technology and digital learning tools.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with state standard frameworks.
• Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom culture conducive to middle school learning.
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, adapt teaching methods, and provide targeted support or enrichment.
• Work closely with grade-level teams, math department members, and special education staff to support student growth; communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievement.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, faculty meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
