Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Warehouse System Support to become the WMS expert for our distribution center. This role supports the Oracle Cloud-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) and collaborates with operations and IT to meet daily needs and ensure accurate inventory and efficient processes.

The incumbent will train key users, assist in system configuration and layout design, roll out test plans, and help improve core processes while maintaining KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and WMS implementations.
• Knowledge of FDA/OSHA regulations helpful.
• Exposure to all facets of supply chain operations.
• Ability to work with multifunctional teams and manage priorities.
• Will train and mentor team associates on solutions and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill role of WMS knowledge expert for warehouse management system from requirements gathering/analysis through daily operations.
• Run waves to support flow of the building.
• Perform inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
• Troubleshoot day to day issues.
• Participate in integration meetings to map specifications and product configuration.
• Assist in roll out of test plans, data and cycles to validate requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to ensure stability of the DC during deployment.
• Participate in on-site implementation and customer interaction to ensure delivery of business requirements.
• Create and update training materials as needed.
• Train and mentor team associates on solutions and best practice of implementations and continuous improvement.
• Help define, monitor and analyze WMS KPIs.
