Job summary

Fulfillment IQ in Atlanta is seeking a WMS Solution Design Lead to guide client onboarding and scale upgrade initiatives. You will act as the techno-functional lead, presenting multiple solution options, live demos, and informed recommendations to the client, rather than a single fix.

In this role you will translate complex client requirements (EDI, Receiving/Put-away, Wave templates, Picking, Packing and Shipping) into several viable paths, build POCs, and deliver option-based proposals to

Qualifications

  • Techno-functional WMS background with Manhattan Scale experience.
  • Experience across multiple 3PL sites and facilities.
  • Ability to build and present POCs/demos comparing multiple options.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading WMS implementations, upgrades, or large enhancement programs.
  • Ability to conduct business process workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Ability to create functional specifications and design documentation.
  • Ability to provide effort estimations and implementation recommendations.
  • Ability to partner with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Ability to present proposed solutions to operational and executive stakeholders.

Travel Expectations:Up to 50% travel, based on customer requirements.

Role Overview:

A strategic enterprise client has given feedback that solutions delivered to date solve the immediate problem butdon'tproactively surface alternative approaches with clear tradeoffs. This role owns that gap: leading new customer onboarding and scale upgradeinitiatives, andacting as the techno-functional lead who brings multiple solution options, live demos/POCs, and informed recommendations to the client — rather than a single prescribed fix.

Mandate:
  • Lead new customer onboarding and the scale upgrade project for the account as a techno-functional owner
  • Translate client requirements (new interfaces, EDI,Receiving/Put-away, Wave templates, Picking, Packing and Shipping) into multiple solution options rather than a single fix
  • Present pros/cons and demos/POCs for eachoptionso the client can make an informed decision
Must Have:
  • Techno-functional background in WMS (Manhattan Scale) with solution design experience
  • Experience across multiple 3PL sites/facilities — not just a single-site background
  • Demonstrated ability to build and present POCs/demos comparing multiple solution paths
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Experience leading WMS implementations, upgrades, or large enhancement programs
  • Ability to conduct business process workshops and requirement-gathering sessions
  • Ability to create functional specifications and design documentation
  • Ability to provide effort estimations and implementation recommendations
  • Ability to partner with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Ability to present proposed solutions to operational and executive stakeholders
Nice to Have:

Prior experience leading new customer onboarding or scale upgrade projects; EDI or complex interface design exposure

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days:
30 Days In:
  • Ramp up on the account, current systems, and key stakeholder relationships
60 Days:
  • Lead the first new customer onboarding or scale upgrade workstream
  • Deliver the first options-based solution proposal (multiple paths with pros/cons) to the client
90 Days:
  • Fully own solution designand SCALE WMS implementationfor new initiatives on the account
  • Demonstrate a repeatable ability to present multiple options with clear tradeoffs to the client
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Number of options-based solution proposals delivered (vs. single-fix recommendations)
  • Client satisfaction/feedback on solution presentations and demos
  • Time from requirement gathering to solution proposal delivery
  • Onboarding/scale upgrade milestone adherence
  • Quality and completeness of functional specifications and design documentation
