Job summary

HelloFresh is hiring a WMS Software Engineer to join our hybrid team, located at our Boulder, CO HQ or Aurora, IL Factor site, with work spanning SQL development, WMS integrations, and cross‑functional collaboration in an Agile environment.

You will design and implement warehouse workflows, partner with operations, and help deliver scalable solutions across multiple HelloFresh facilities. Travel to facilities may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of software development, systems support, or technical analyst experience, preferably in WMS/logistics.
• Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries, stored procedures, and basic data modeling.
• Familiarity with GitHub pull requests and interpret YAML-based GitHub Actions workflows to diagnose and fix failed deployment checks.
• Understanding of AWS core services will be preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management concepts such as inventory locations, LPNs, replenishment, and cycle counts.
• Experience with a scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Comfort with ticketing and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Slack.
• Preferred: prior experience with Infios, HighJump, Körber, or another enterprise WMS, and exposure to message queues or event streaming such as Kafka.
• 0-2 years of Körber/ HighJump design and development experience with Advantage Architect, Advantage Link, Webwise Page Editor
• Experience with Bartender and Label Design a plus
• Industry experience in food/cold chain a plus
• Willingness to travel to HelloFresh facilities as needed.

• Partner with the HelloFresh WMS support analyst team to triage/ troubleshoot/ resolve complex technical issues or system defects efficiently in order to minimize impact on operations users and/or project timelines

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of software development, systems support, or technical analyst experience, ideally in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing, preferably WMS
• Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries, stored procedures, and basic data modeling.
• Familiarity with GitHub pull requests and interpret YAML‑based GitHub Actions workflows to diagnose and fix failed deployment checks.
• Understanding of AWS core services will be preferred.

Location and Work Arrangement

This position is hybrid to either our Boulder, CO HQ or Aurora, IL Factor site. This position will report to the Technical Lead and work on developing solutions and integrations for our strategic warehouse management system (The Körber Warehouse Advantage/ HighJump Platform) via Webwise Page Editor, Advantage Architect and SQL. This position is preferred to be seated and eligible for hybrid work office policy in one of the following fulfillment/ office locations: Warsaw, Poland| New York, NY|Toronto, Canada| Boulder, CO| Aurora, IL| Newark, NJ | Irving, TX |Goodyear, AZ| Phoenix, AZ.
