The WMS Software Engineer - IBM i / AS400 Specialist plays a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that support McKesson's Warehouse Management Systems across its Distribution Centers. This position focuses on the IBM i platform and requires hands‑on expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, SQL, and modern Integrated Language Environment development practices.
The role translates business and technical requirements into modular, scalable solutions; supports platform reliability and interoperability; and drives disciplined engineering through automation, testing, Agile delivery, and CI/CD practices. The engineer will collaborate with technical teams, business partners, and vendors to enhance warehouse operations and support Order-to-Cash processes.
