Job summary

The Timberline Group in Saint Peters, MO, seeks a hands-on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Manager and Senior Process Engineer to lead the Nextworld CloudInventory rollout across our Regional Distribution Center and 40+ branch locations.

You will own both the technical system lifecycle and operational process excellence, partnering with Operations, IT, Supply Chain, and vendor teams to deliver scalable, compliant warehouse solutions with measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in WMS leadership, admin, or distribution operations with multi-site responsibility.
• Hands-on WMS configuration, deployment, and support of Nextworld CloudInventory or similar.
• Experience with ERP/WMS integrations and data quality.
• Lean/Kaizen or continuous improvement methodologies applied to warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Own as Product Owner for Nextworld CloudInventory WMS.
• Define multi-year roadmap, standards, governance, and guardrails.
• Establish data governance, master data controls, and change management across sites.
• Lead discovery, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and deployments.
• Develop deployment playbooks, readiness checklists, and cutover plans.
• Map and optimize receiving, putaway, slotting, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting.
• Produce SOPs, RACI matrices, swimlanes, and value-stream maps.
• Coordinate WMS integrations with ERP, ecommerce, and RF devices.
• Define and monitor data standards and quality rules.
