Job summary

Catalyst Brands is seeking an Engineer 2 - Supply Chain Applications to be a key contact for the Distribution Center and Logistics teams. You will develop and test programs focused on speed, accuracy, and compliance, and address production issues to keep operations running smoothly.

In this role you will participate in analysis, design, testing and implementation of WMS projects, collaborating with analysts, designers and system owners.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of WMS Application Development experience
• Retail Industry experience preferred
• BA/BS degree is required – Or the equivalent in work experience
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Java, XML, JSON, SQL, DTS/SSIS, and Stored Procedures
• Experience with RPGLE, CL, DDS, Python, Visual Basic, C# and AS/400 (iSeries)
• Experience with SDI Material Sorter HMIs is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage time effectively
• Hybrid work program with in-office collaboration as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support in-house custom applications
• Address production issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in testing of new software
• Follow the system development life cycle
• Work independently or within a defined project team
• Take direction from senior technical staff
• Interact with all levels of management
• Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Provide off-hours support as needed
