Job summary

Wilbert Inc. is seeking a Grinder Operator in White Bear Lake, MN. You will load and move materials, feed a plastic grinder and maintain logs for scrap and regrind. Safety and cleanliness are essential as you support inventory and operate related equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience, with a valid license preferred. Training via WilbertU courses is included; candidate must work on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with multiple workstations, products and materials.
• Forklift experience preferred and forklift license required.
• Must obtain/maintain valid forklift license for the role.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and move materials within the plant or work site.
• Operate plastic grinding system and monitor safety procedures.
• Sort scrap by material type and feed into grinder as needed.
• Weigh, label and log regrind resin; track scrap and regrind.
• Keep work area, grinders and filters clean; assist inventory counts.
• Support other Material Handlers as needed; observe cleanliness and safety.

We’re committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’s empowered to be their best.Responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant or work site and operates plastic grinding system.# Role and Responsibilities · Organize and sort all scrap parts by material type· Hand-feed the scrap parts into the grinder to create regrind resin· LOTO the grinder and clean out all regrind between color and new materials· Weigh and label regrind resin; maintain log for scrap and regrind tracking· Clean filters and work area daily.· Support Scrap labeling and identification on the floor· Collect scrap boxes from the workstations as needed· Fill in as needed for Material Handlers· Support Inventory counts as required· Clean work area, grinders, and related equipment.· Observe all safety requirements and maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition. This includes but is not limited to the production area, cleaning of machines, and general cleaning.# Qualifications and Education Requirements· High School Diploma or G.E.D.
