Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Wisconsin-based Manager of Provider Relations and Contracting to lead provider contracting, financial analysis, and strategic partnerships across eastern Wisconsin. You will oversee negotiations, compliance, and coordination with HealthPartners and contracted medical groups while mentoring staff and driving operational excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, extensive health care experience, and strong leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business administration or other relevant field.
• 7+ years in the health care industry with provider relations/administrative experience.
• Management experience and ability to hire, train and supervise staff.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider contracting and relationships in eastern Wisconsin.
• Develop contracting strategies aligned with HealthPartners objectives.
• Negotiate contract terms with eastern Wisconsin providers.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare product requirements and regulations.
• Provide project management for strategic development initiatives and relationships with contracted providers.
• Supervise and mentor staff and contract consultants when applicable.
• Coordinate communications among plans, providers, and clinics.
