Wiring Technician (ControlTech Automation)

About the Company: ControlTech Automation (CTA), part of Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Inc., is a control panel integrator based in St. Louis, specializing in control solutions for various industries across the U.S. CTA designs and fabricates control panels from customer-supplied designs.

Position Details:

Hours: 2nd Shift, 12PM-10:30PM

Responsibilities:
  • Assembling and wiring components accurately according to specifications
  • Measuring panels, assembling components, and adjusting parts using hand and power tools
  • Drilling, tapping, reaming, and other mechanical tasks
  • Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work orders
  • Disassembling units for repairs or shipping
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
  • Communicating with team members regarding equipment issues and improvements
  • Rotating through workstations and meeting production goals
  • Maintaining manufacturing equipment and ensuring UL compliance
  • Taking ownership of work and contributing to team success
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and wiring
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
