Job description

What you'll be doing:

The Wiring Technician is responsible to support the wiring of harnesses and electrical distribution systems and support the interconnection of control modules. Responsibilities include:

  1. Read and interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematics
  2. Root cause electrical wiring issues
  3. Provide technical interface to the advanced wiring team
  4. Attend design reviews/coordination meetings

What you need for this position:

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Automotive Wire Harness fabrication and modification
  2. Use of multimeter, oscilloscope and other electrical troubleshooting tools
  3. General computer skills
  4. Outstanding communication and organization skills
  5. High school diploma or GED certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Associates in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  2. Vocational training or certification
  3. EDS component experience
  4. CAN Communication Tool Experience: Vector CANAlyzer
