Our Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA), ETC (Electrical Technical Center) Electrical Design organization has an exciting opportunity for a Wiring Technical Designer (Experienced or Senior) to help define the future of commercial aerospace with innovative ideas that enhance our culture of safety and quality.

We are hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Senior Wiring Technical Designer.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and release electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs, or engineering documentation following company, industry, and governmental standards.
• Select components, prepare design layouts, modify existing designs, and integrate system elements to meet customer and productivity requirements.
• Validate engineering system design and functionality.
• Ensure compliance with standards, requirements, and regulatory authorities, maintaining product integrity.
• Coordinate activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers.
• Work under the guidance of a lead engineer and a mentor to enhance technical skills and career growth.

Work Authorization

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.

Qualifications

Basic (Required):

• 3+ years of experience with wire harness, electrical, or mechanical design.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5+ years’ related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years using wire design tools such as WIRS, MAPPER, CADDS, or Capital Logic.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with good communication skills.

Additional Information

This is a union-represented position. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and potential relocation assistance. The pay range is $68,000 - $92,000 for experienced level, and $80,750 - $109,250 for senior level. Applications are accepted until May 26, 2025.
