Job summary

United CoolAir, LLC is seeking a Unit Wirer at our York, PA production facility to assemble and wire high-quality commercial HVAC equipment. This full-time role starts from basic components and progresses toward finished units with integrated quality checks.

You will work from blueprints and schematics, connect motors, controls, and switches, and use various tools while maintaining safety and accuracy to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous work experience in a fast paced, and dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned product manufacturing and or wiring responsibilities.
• Properly install electrical wiring within HVAC units based on blueprints, schematics, and assembly guidelines.
• Connect electrical components such as motors, controls, and switches within the HVAC system.
• Use a variety of hand, power and or pneumatic tools to complete the assembly and or system within the customer equipment.
• Regularly inspect and test the wiring of HVAC units to ensure they adhere to company specifications and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve any wiring issues or discrepancies during the assembly process.
• Complete shop paperwork / records to ensure that equipment is being built in accordance with the manufacturing / customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Comply with the safety regulations and properly utilize personal protective equipment.
• Abide by all internal United CoolAir polices to foster a safe, efficient, and exciting work environment.
• Work with your manufacturing lead and team to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Collaborate with various departments when necessary to provide the highest quality product to your customers.
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC electrical standards, technologies, and best practices.

We are looking for an Unit Wirer to join our team at our York, PA facility. This position is in our production facility, it is a full-time position with the prospect of growing within the organization. Typical hours are Monday to Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, overtime may be required when necessary to meet commitment dates.
