Job summary

A#1 Air, Inc. is seeking friendly, clean-cut Wiremen to install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems for customers in Texas. You will inspect electrical components, identify problems with testing devices, and repair or replace wiring and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Speak clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Manage stress and handle difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
• Address and resolve customers’ concerns promptly and accurately.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with laws and perform routine maintenance and cleanliness.
• Follow training on safety and uphold safety instructions without tolerance for violations.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and testing equipment used in the trade.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance including repair, installation, and alteration of electrical equipment and wiring.
• Submit customer invoices via iPad with accurate documentation of equipment and repairs.

We're looking for friendly, clean-cut, Wiremen who have a positive attitude and take pride in doing it right the first time! An A #1 Air wiremen will install and maintain wiring, control, & lighting systems as well as inspect electrical systems for our customers.

Job Summary:

Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.

• Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, and accurately.
• Operating company vehicles and will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as, maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
• Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training and no tolerance will be accepted for the disregard of safety instructions.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of electrical equipment, components, timers, motors and any other wiring system as needed.
• Submit customer invoices via company I Pad correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostic and all recommended repairs.

Physical Work Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• The employee is regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus.
• Activities involving being around moving parts and equipment, exposure to changes in temperature and humidity as well as dust, fumes, electricity, gases and moderate noise.
