Job summary

Yellowjacket Oilfield Services, LLC is seeking a Wireline Operator to join our Kenai, Alaska team on a three weeks on / three weeks off rotation. The role involves installing and disassembling wireline equipment, operating and maintaining trucks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will work independently and with crews, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel as needed. A valid CDL with Hazmat is preferred; ability to obtain endorsements is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL with Hazmat and state blaster license preferred.
• Ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat Endorsement and license required.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, squat, crawl and walk.
• Exposure to working outdoors and extreme weather conditions.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Basic writing, math and computer skills.
• Flexibility to work any schedule based on business needs and travel as job requires.
• Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Installs and disassembles (rig up/rig down) of wireline and pressure control equipment in accordance with original equipment manufacturer’s standards including verification of applicable certifications.
• Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts process or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties with full compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots wireline truck and equipment including diagnostics.
• Drives Company vehicles and equipment: wireline trucks, cranes, pickup truck, trailer.
• Ensures compliance with all regulations applicable to wireline explosives operations.
• Cleans and maintains company vehicles, tools, & equipment; troubleshoots tool, equipment, and truck problems.
• Liaises with technicians on equipment failure and provides crew support.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
