Job summary

Ontivity in Springfield, MO is hiring a Tower Technician to assist in erection, construction, and maintenance of wireless towers. You will follow safety and quality guidelines and work at heights up to 500 feet, with travel 80–100% weekly.

The role demands physical fitness, ability to read drawings and specs, and the ability to operate lifts and rigging equipment. A high school diploma or GED is required; related trade schooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.
• Successful completion of safety in rigging coursework.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, and aerial platform equipment.
• Successful completion of Industrial First Aid and Rescue Training and Competent Climber course.

Responsibilities

• Safety First – uphold safety and quality at all times.
• Assist with erection, construction, and maintenance of wireless towers.
• Perform tower-top work including rigging, hoisting, cabling and documentation.
• Travel weekly to job sites (80–100%).
• Maintain tools and equipment; support crew on site.
