Job summary

ADB Wireless is seeking a Tower Foreman to lead day-to-day safety, production, and quality on wireless tower projects nationwide. You will mentor Tower Technicians, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and drive on-site performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in wireless, 2+ years as foreman, OSHA30 preferred, and a valid driver's license. This role requires travel nationwide and a strong ALL IN attitude to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in the wireless industry.
  • 2+ years as Tower Foreman leading wireless crews.
  • OSHA30 certification preferred; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety-first tower projects, enforcing 100% tie-off and daily safety talks.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager to meet schedules and budgets.
  • Verify BOMs and material orders for accuracy.
  • Climb and perform rescue operations up to 100 feet with 50 lb load.
  • Install and align coax, fiber, antennas, and microwave equipment.
  • Track crew time and ensure proper tool/equipment usage.
  • Read construction drawings and RF diagrams for site work.
  • Provide daily customer updates and issue resolution.
  • Complete close-out packages with field photos for verification.
  • Train and develop Tower Technicians and Foremen per CAM.

POSITION OVERVIEW

ADB Wireless is seeking a Tower Foreman to lead the day-to-day performance, safety, production, and quality expectations on a variety of wireless tower projects. This position will perform work on communication towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing wireless communications equipment. The Foreman will be a team leader and mentor to various Tower Technicians. The ideal candidate will have extensive wireless technical experience, a strong belief in the safety and well-being of team members, as well as a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure safety is always being adhered to using proper procedures such as 100% tie off as well as completing daily JSA/toolbox talks
  • Work with the Project Manager daily to ensure schedules and budgets are being met
  • Verify ordered project materials are accurate and complete reviewing BOMs
  • Ability to climb and rescue at 100 feet or more with 50lb. load
  • Ability to complete coax, fiber, boom, microwave dishes, antenna, and radio installations
  • Responsible for tracking and approving time for all crew members
  • Ensures tools and equipment on project sites are always being utilized and maintained responsibly
  • Ability to perform PIM, sweep, fiber, and antenna alignment testing on site
  • Communicate with customers, providing daily updates and problem resolution
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, RFDS’, port diagrams, and tower/mount structural analysis’
  • Complete project required close-out packages and take required photos, sending to management to verify installation has been done properly
  • Train and develop Tower Technicians and Tower Foreman according to the Career Advancement Matrix (CAM)
  • Performs other position as assigned by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbing, etc.
  • May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite
  • Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humidity and rain through the year
  • When working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed boots.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • 5+ years of experience in the wireless industry
  • 2+ years in a Tower Foreman role leading wireless crews
  • OSHA30 certification preferred
  • Valid driver license with a clean driving record required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
