Job Title: Wireless Technical Program Manager (Hardware / NPI)

Location: Redmond, WA or Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (High possibility of extension or conversion)

We are seeking a Wireless Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end development of next-generation wireless modules and subsystems for cutting-edge consumer devices. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and wireless technologies, driving programs through the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle.

You will partner with cross-functional engineering teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program execution for wireless hardware initiatives (WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular, etc.)
  • Drive programs through NPI phases including concept, design, development, validation, and launch
  • Develop and manage program schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Partner with engineering teams to define architectures, build plans, and wireless requirements
  • Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies and issue resolution
  • Track and report program health, engineering issues, and build progress to leadership
  • Ensure successful hardware + firmware integration across system components
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across hardware, software, and external vendors
  • Establish and improve processes and best practices for program execution

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Manager
  • Experience managing hardware and/or firmware programs from concept to production
  • Strong background in wireless systems (RF, Bluetooth, WiFi, cellular, antenna design, etc.)
  • Experience with wireless module qualification, validation, and characterization
  • Deep understanding of consumer hardware product development lifecycle (NPI)
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional technical programs
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background working with leading device ecosystems (e.g., smart devices, wearables)
  • Knowledge of wireless security protocols and emerging standards
  • Experience managing external vendors and partners
